Your Sunday Sunshine! Shine On!

Sunday's are a great day for planning a sucessful week. It doesn't have to be a work day necessarily but a day of reflection and positive thoughts will help set you up for a great Monday and a fabulous and productive week. Take some self time people - bubble baths, reading, walks, cooking... whatever helps you get into the right head space so you can get out there and make a positive impact. If you decide to work today make sure you still set aside some me time. Here is some weekly inspiration friends:

What are you doing today that is good for your mental health. Remember if you are battling lyme or another difficult illness, the mind is a powerful tool you have in your armory. Educate yourself and others on the topic and connect with others who are battling the disease. Look for people who seem to be moving forward, if not physically then mentally, spiritually and emotionally - make them a part of your life and ask them to be your battle buddy! That way if you hit a slump you have someone to call on who can help get you out of it. Don't be afraid to ask for help. I wish had learned how to do this sooner. Also do not brush off offers of help even if they are coming from people you don't know that well. Not everyone who is a part of your journey in illness and injury was a part of the life you had prior to this predicament & that's okay.

Humans are meant to live in community! So find some other life warriors or lyme warriors if that applies and form an army! Who is going to be your General? If you are strong today - you can promote yourself to that position. If you are weak in body or spirit find a friend to do this for you. They can help you make a new eating plan, research healthy foods, go to the market for you and buy fresh and fantastical ingredients to cook with like fruits and vegetables or just be a supportive voice on the other end of the phone. Today is the day to make those connections and calls before the week begins!

What are you going to do today for your SUNDAY SUNSHINE? Make a list and stick to it! Above all remember you are in control of this ship no matter what. You cannot control everything but you can control some things. The quickest and easist way to make yourself feel good and give yourself the physical tools you need to keep healing is through food and friends! Eat right and don't go it alone. Your future self will thank you for implementing changes in these areas that are positive and productive. Eat some plants! Be present in today and remember, as the Beatles said "Here comes the sun" - believe it, live it and share this awesome news with your battle buddies. They need inspiration and positivity too. Have a sunny day my friends. PEACE, Audrey
