Fail spectacularly! (Life is a series of theories and experiments)

Ha so true!

So class, this is pretty much my lesson for today. Sometimes you have to remember when battling chronic illness that we are all our own guinea pigs in a manner of speaking. We our test cases in our own lives. We figure out what doesn't work so we can figure out what does. It's the experimental part of life that leads us to biggest and most profound lessons. When we use the word "experiment" we tend to think of rebellion in our teenage years - which involves our sexuality, drugs and alcohol, and the formation of our beliefs. But life really is a series of experiments. It doesn't stop just because you turn 20, or 30, or 40 etc or when you have children... nope you're in this for the long run. May as well learn to look at things in terms of little experiments. And know now that many of them won't work and you'll have to go back to the drawing board and start anew. It's tiring I know but it is so worth it when you find something real. When you discover who you are, what you want, what you need, what works.

I'm sure this is old news for some of us. What we really need to work on, is combining our experiences and experiments especially when it comes to surviving chronic illness. The more we isolate, the less we share. The less we share, the less we learn from others. The less we learn from others, the more likely we are to repeat each other's mistakes... or to miss out on the news when something works well; when a discovery is made. This is part of our role in the world - to connect the dots, not just for ourselves but for others. If you remove yourself from the equation you don't just hurt yourself, you hurt me, my friends and our future generations. We need you to make the experiment work. We need your experience to help lead us and guide us. If you can't keep going for yourself, maybe you can do it for the greater good. If you can't keep going for the greater good - do it for yourself! Both are incredibly important and worthy of your time, your mind, and your best effort. The lesson plan doesn't work without you.

I need you to be my teacher - my guru. Maybe I can be somebody else's. Let's combine our knowledge and theorize, experiment and experience life together. Besides it's always more fun when we go together! WE WILL DO AS WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE - ENDURE, OVERCOME AND LEARN TO MOVE ON. AND WE WILL EXPERIMENT FOREVER! Here's to experience and experiments! Let's keep failing. Let's keep falling down and getting back up - together. Cheers!

As always I wish you a happy, healthy and hopeful day - now get out there and fail spectacularly. It'll bring us one step closer to success. Peace, Audrey

Life experiences have taught me a lot. Who to trust, and what to take serious or not. I have overcome, and learned, and now moving on with some peace knowing no more negativity in my life.
